These controls are a little bit finicky. You should pretty much never use the curve shot for the whole game and focus only on smash shots. You have to hit the puck on either side of the paddle and hit right before the puck connects to execute the move (the puck will move much faster with a orange trail behind it)


IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE WE START

This is an air hockey game in the Miku Miku universe but IT IS ALSO AN AUGMENTED REALITY GAME (AR). It will require either a printer to print a special image or at the very least a laptop to display the said image. Already know what's the AR vita technology? Skip the spoiler below if so.

Remember those weird looking cards that came with your vita? No? Well, me neither. This is used in one of vita's most hidden gimmick. AR games require use of your vita camera which you have to aim at specific AR cards. Here is SONY's official AR trailer (wtf am I right ?).

TL;DR This is not your common game and it will require the help of a laptop or even better a printer to 100%

Now, some AR games can be played without cards but this is not one of them. You won't even be able to reach the main menu without your vita camera looking at this image. I highly recommend you print it if possible (black and white is fine). If you can't access a printer, be warned that you won't be able to play the game even for a second without looking at this picture. Hopefully you can use a laptop so you don't have to hold your vita vertically looking at your PC monitor on your whole journey.

How to AFK points grinding

There isn't really any need to win more than two games for the 100%. One perfect victory against Miku (which you should do at the start) and a win against Mikudayo. All the rest of the money will be grinded in practice mode. Simply set your vita in such a way that it's looking at your AR picture on a laptop screen or on your printed sheet.Keep starting games against Miku and just press every 2 shots to throw the puck back while you watch TV or something. The amount of points you would get for winning is pointless in the grand scheme of things and it's much faster and convenient to lose. Keep in mind that the higher level Miku is, the more points you get for a loss so try to go tune her up a few times on your way to level 25.

Once you beat Mikudayo in spectate mode, you will still need money for level 10 in a single stat. You should then use the clock trick (xx:39) to fight the newly unlocked Mikudayo as she gives much more money for losses. Overall, its a pretty easy and short grind with the right setup. Here's a terrible picture of my setup for the visual people. You can see my vita on the edge of my computer desk (so the camera is aiming on the floor) with a Miku print on top of stuff so I could easily be on the computer and just press to keep grinding.

Note about trophy unlocks

Trophies in this game only unlocks when you get back to the main menu screen and unlock the piece of clothing related to completing the trophy requirement. Just a small note to keep in mind.



Still with me ? :P Let's dive right in then ! The following trophy guide will list trophies in an optimized way so you can just follow this guide trophy by trophy until the end !



We will just do one very important thing after loading the game first. Boot the game (make sure you're aiming at your AR picture), go into "tuning" and then settings. There will be 3 options at the bottom on the screen (the 2 at the bottom having numbers). Make sure you change the top setting to the other possible option (there is only two).This will switch the controls from tilt to joystick controls.

毎日ミクさん [I started the game for 3 consecutive days!]

Simply play for three consecutive days. Close the app, change the time 1 day forward and reboot the game. Do this one more time for this easy trophy. You just have to reach the main menu and don't have to play anything. I suggest to just get this out of the way at the beginning and not wait out the 3 days.





可愛く撮れた？[I took a screenshot!]

Press + at any time during the game to take a screenshot and unlock this trophy.





ミクさんに勝利！[I won Miku in practice mode!]

Practice mode makes you play against Miku. The first player to reach 5 points wins and winning for the first time will unlock this trophy. This is extremely easy and will probably be done on your 1st or 2nd try. Try to win 5-0 for the trophy below too.





ストレート勝利！[In my practice mode I won Miku straight!]

Just like the trophy above but you have to win 5-0 for this one. Not really any tips here except to keep trying. It is very easy and I got this on my 3rd game. If Miku scored you can quit (bottom left) to restart faster.





ミクさんかわいい [I saw Miku's Tappuri action three times!]

The tappuri action is when Miku rolls on the main menu. Tap on her to see her roll. You need to do this with 3 different outfits. Every trophy unlocks an outfit so you need at least 2 trophies before attempting this. Go to "tuning" and select costumes on the right to change costume.





ミクダヨーさんに勝利！[Winning Mikudayo in watching mode!]

This is one of the 2 grind trophies of the game. The very left option on the left menu is "spectate". Selecting this option lets you watch a game between Miku and Mikudayo. There is nothing you can do here except watch. This might seem easy but the problem is Mikudayo is much stronger than Miku. You will need to upgrade her a lot before attempting this trophy. You upgrade Miku's attributes in the "tuning" option in the main menu. Upgrading costs points and each level costs more points than the one before. You get those points by playing "practice" against Miku. I would recommend to attempt this trophy once you get the trophy below for having a total level across all attributes of 25+. I personally had all my stats to 5 and I crushed Mikudayo on first try. Refer to the idling method in the roadmap to find out how to AFK this grind.





はじめてのチューニング [Tuned!]

Just upgrade any attribute for Miku in "tuning". Unmissable. Just skip to the trophy below.





上手になってきた？[The total level exceeds 25!]

Your total across all 6 of Miku's attributes must be over 25. Upgrade all the perks to the same level before going to the next level to save on points and keep idling using the method in the roadmap for about 1h to get enough points for this.





色々押してみた [I tried all modes!]

There is only three modes in this game with two being unmissable for other trophies if you followed the guide up to this point. The modes are "spectate", "adhoc" and "practice". The only mode you have to go out of your way is "adhoc". Select the mode, click yes to turn internet off and the trophy will pop shortly after. You don't need another vita !





あのお方を超えた [I won a direct confrontation with Mikudayo!]

This is by FAR the hardest trophy in the game (if not the only challenging one). You can not fight Mikudayo until Miku has beaten her (him?) in "spectate" mode before. Once this is done, you can fight Mikudayo by selecting the "practice" option WHEN THE TIME ON YOUR PSVITA IS XX:39. Just change the time in the settings to anything as long as it ends with 39 and select practice. Once it's done, you can keep retrying in case of failure as long as you don't go back to the main menu. If you do quit, you will have to set the time again to xx:39.



This AI is extremely cheap. Make sure you switched to joystick controls before even attempting this. Don't bother with curve shots and focus only on trying to throw smash shots from either end of your paddle over and over. Eventually, you will get the hang of it and score. There's not really much else to it but keep trying and chain smash shots aiming for corners.





拾い上手 [I kept rallying at least 20 times in 1 game!]

You have to bounce the puck back 20 times across a game. This will probably be obtained naturally but if not just keep returning normal shots as straight as possible to Mikudayo to bounce the puck back and forth between the two of you.





カウンターポイント！[I scored at the counter!]

There is 3 kinds of attacks in Miku Miku Hockey which are normal, smash, and curve shots. Any time you or the opponent do a smash or curve shot, the trail behind the puck will change to blue or orange. To score a counter, you must return a special attack from an opponent with another special and then score. This will most likely be obtained while fighting Mikudayo.





レベルマックス！[Either parameter has reached level 10!]

This will be the last trophy for your 100% (minus the "platinum"). It costs a total of 32105 points to get an attribute to level 10. Once you have the trophy for beating Mikudayo in spectate mode, lower all your stats back to level 1 and invest all your points in the same perk until it hits level 10. I would recommend that you do the same AFK method as before but do it against Mikudayo this time. You will get 500pts this way for every defeat so this last grind will be very short.





フルコンプリート！[I got all the trophies!]

This is the "platinum" trophy of the game for getting all the other trophies. Just make sure you unlocked everything up to this point for your newly obtained 100% .

Should be complete. AR games are pretty rare so this game definitely stands out and is worth a try imo. Only hard part is beating Mikudayo but it's really not that bad at all. Thanks to whoever made that awesome banner !
