Welcome to the shmups leaderboard! This is a leaderboard for the fans of shoot 'em up games. Shmups are well known to be some of the most difficult games to master and those who have the skill and determination to complete these hard games, those who spend countless hours mastering the patterns for those elusive 1 credit clear runs, deserve some recognition. This is a rather unpopular and unknown genre, so I hope the leaderboard might encourage more people to try these games out. There are a lot of awesome shmups out there.

This leaderboard will rank you based on the rarity points you obtained in shoot em up games. Basically the harder the game, the more points you earn. Completing the most difficult tasks in all of your shmups will earn you the largest amount of points!

I will be constantly updating this leaderboard as new shoot em up games release on PlayStation. If I missed a game/you don't see a game that should qualify, let me know by a PM either on PSN or here on the forums.
